Accessing via the Web

The web address for Filemaker is  It should be noted that these databases are not accessible outside of our district network.


Log in with your Active Directory credentials. These are the same as your computer login. You should then see all of the available databases.


From here you can click on the database you need. You will be prompted to log in one more time to access the database. You should receive this password from the person responsible for database.



Accessing via the Client

Some databases do not preform as well on the web. So there is often a need to install the Filemaker Client. If you do not have the client it can be found inside of the Self-Service App. Self-Service is located inside your Applications Folder on your Mac. Once you get it installed and opened up, choose File>Open Remote



Connect to the remote host 

Click Save. 

You will be asked to log into the database server. Using the same credentials you log into your computer with. Then as you will see the list of available databases, double click on the one you wish to work with and log in using your database password. You should receive what this is from the database manager.
